So on Saturday my drama teacher took about fifty students from my school to Vancouver. Trust me, the story gets better.
We got on the 7am ferry. ~
BestFairyEver and I arrived and soon my roomies arrived too. I was lucky enough to room with ~
Sparks-McLain, ~
darbysarah and ~
Graceofhearts, my bestest fwends! From the ferry we went shopping in Vancouver, where we went for Japanese at a lovely little restaurant. Darby's food came with noodles so they kindly made her a new dish without any. You're going to start asking about glutton in everything, Darbs, so this doesn't happen again! After that we went to the Stanley Theatre to see HAIRSPRAY! It was really good. The singing was exceptional and I thought of ~
blackcat-girl during Good Morning Baltimore. I was really impressed with the production. Two guys even kissed! (Well, one was playing a woman, but still~)
Then we went to the hotel and the others swam in the pool. I didn't because I can't afford to get chlorine in my hair (I dyed it professionally for prom/grad and if the dye leaks ~
Rainforestgoddess (my mum) will KILL me) so I took pictures! We walked to the bus stop where Katherine and I bought poutine from a roadside stand. The guys manning it were awesome. I wish I could add them on facebook! lol Then we hopped the city bus and went to an improv show! We got them to do a scene about a talking horse with no lips. It's an inside joke so I understand if you're confused. hahaha
Then we came home, Katherine, Nicole and I did our Literature homework, watched SNL and we crashed.
In the morning we went shopping again, finding a really cool steampunk store! None of us had enough money (it was super expensive because it was all genuine leather) so I promised to take them back once I get my driver's licence and we bought a few other things. I got some shirts and a "What If?" Marvel comic for my mum.
Then we went to the main reason for the trip:
WICKED~~~
It was, well, wicked! So much fun. The actors were very good, the singing was amazing and the choreography and costumes were TO
DIE for!!! One girl was even on pointe! And her pointe shoes were EMERALD!
~
SybilSaintSybil joined us at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (where Wicked was playing) before the show. She wasn't part of the trip but her mum procured tickets for the same showing and even IN THE SAME ROW, incidentally!
So I had a shite-load of fun this weekend, as you can probably tell.
--------------------------------------
"Once Upon A Heart" is in progress, the 5th chapter is almost done and then I'll send it off to ~
Celestial-moon-fire for editing. The sixth chapter will be the last. Either after the 5th chapter or after the story's done (depending on how quickly chapter 6 is going) I'll start posting a new story called "Twisted Princess". It's a LoZ story which follows the lives of TP Link, M!Sheik and Celia (OC). It will be another yaoi (LinkxSheik!), though I have some ideas for some yuri stories, too. If you don't know: MalonxZelda is one of my favourite pairings. I'm not exactly sure why but it just seems so cute~!
"Dragons Pending"...Nicole and I are going to get together and write the 3rd chapter after she gets back from Vienna in July then we can go back to writing our individual chapters, which will go much faster!
---------------------------------------
Is anyone going to Cos&Effect in Vancouver in August? (Xan, Katie and Nicole, you need not answer this XD)
I'm being Beach v Larxene (depending on the weather) and probably Sheik again, as I love that costume to bits. All I have to do is make Larxene's kunai and Sheik's harp and the costumes are done! *sigh* There goes my summer.

I'm graduating on the 29th.
Welcome to the real world, Cia.
